Paul O'Donoghue (He/Him)
Educator Support Manager
Paul O'Donoghue grew up in Massachusetts and attended college at High Point University in North Carolina where he earned a B.S. in Mathematics and was a member of the track and field team. His family is currently based in New Haven, Connecticut.
He discovered Modern Classrooms Project in 2020 during his third year of teaching high school and began implementing soon after, eventually becoming a Distinguished Modern Classroom Educator and mentor to other educators.
Paul taught math for 8 years in high schools in Massachusetts and Michigan. His passions while teaching included mastery-based grading, inquiry learning, and implementing Modern Classrooms.
When not spreading Modern Classrooms to new schools, you can find him running with his wife while they push their 1-year-old son in a stroller, exploring coffee shops and finding ice cream in walkable neighborhoods, training for marathons, and rooting for the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics.
