Mika Iwasaki (she/her)
Math Curriculum Development Manager

Mika began her career as a fourth-grade math teacher at a charter school in Providence, RI. After four years in the classroom, she decided to take her interest in curriculum design to a math tutoring organization, where she designed lessons and activities for middle and high school students. Mika remains passionate about designing student-centered materials that are engaging, accessible, and support deep conceptual understanding.

Mika holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education & Psychology from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mika currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, where she enjoys trying new restaurants, reading in parks, and playing tennis.
