Esther centers her work around humanizing classrooms for both teachers and learners. Her career has spanned over a decade in classroom teaching in Chicago Public Schools and district-level leadership. She has worked as a math curriculum developer at Amplify and advisor for professional development at Nth Education Partners. She also co-authored the book Disrupting Injustice: Navigating Critical Moments in the Classroom. Additionally, she has served on committees of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and on the board of directors for the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics. In her free time, Esther enjoys finding new coffee shops in Chicago and hanging out with husband and two cats.
