Educators using Skew The Script for AP Statistics or High School Statistics are invited to apply.
The Math Fellowship begins with a virtual Launch Training. Options include July 14 or July 23.

Transform your approach to teaching with ready-made resources that enhance student engagement, motivation, and collaboration. Differentiate instruction so that students build authentic understanding and deep content mastery.
Step Three: School Year Support
Receive ongoing personalized support and practical strategies from expert Modern Classrooms mentors as you refine your instructional practices to meet the needs of every student.

Skew The Script is a nonprofit that offers free, nonpartisan, genuinely relevant math lessons for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, AP® Statistics, and High School Statistics. Skew The Script has reached over 20,000 teachers and 400,000 students. Watch and learn more here.

This professional development program provides educators with resources, training, and ongoing support to successfully combine Skew The Script with the Modern Classrooms instructional model.
Resources: Receive access to a full course of ready-to-use, Skew The Script-aligned materials that encourage students to master content at their own pace.
Launch Training: Learn more about the Modern Classrooms approach and how to leverage the provided Skew The Script resources to begin planning for classroom implementation.
Ongoing Support: Engage in regular support opportunities throughout the school year including on-demand mentoring.

Each lesson from Skew The Script comes with a suite of aligned resources. This includes slide decks to use and share with students, guided notes that can support student learning, checklists to keep students on task, videos for instructional delivery, and multiple mastery check versions to help educators better understand student learning.

All Math Fellowship participants are expected to use the resources provided and to participate in the training and ongoing support supports that are available. In addition, participants are asked to complete occasional surveys to provide feedback on implementation and the program experience.

Program Overview
Summer
Begin the Math Fellowship with a one-day virtual Launch Training that will prepare you to use Skew The Script with the Modern Classrooms instructional model. Your Launch Training options include:
Option A: July 14 (9:00 - 3:30 p.m. PT) with optional collaborative planning time on July 15 (9:00 - 11:30 a.m. PT)
Option B: July 23 (10:00 - 4:30 p.m. EST) with optional collaborative planning time on July 24 (9:00 - 11:30 a.m. EST)
More details about the Launch Training, including the agenda and meeting link, will be provided as the training dates approach.
School Year
Begin implementing Skew The Script materials with the Modern Classrooms instructional model in your class. Ongoing commitment and support includes:
Completing occasional surveys to provide feedback on implementation and your Math Fellowship experience
Optionally engaging in personalized support from Modern Classrooms mentors to implement practical strategies that address your needs
