Dive Deeper into Math Mentorship
-
The Modern Classrooms Project is a teacher-created nonprofit that empowers educators to build classrooms that respond to every student’s needs. This model has helped over 20,000 educators create classrooms where every student is appropriately challenged and supported - and where teaching feels more sustainable and enjoyable, too.
-
This professional development program provides educators with resources, training, and ongoing support to successfully implement Eureka Math².
Resources: Access to a full course worth of HQIM-aligned materials that encourage students to master content at their own pace.
Training: You’ll learn more about the Modern Classrooms approach and how to leverage the curricular resources at your disposal during in-person training on June 4-5.
Ongoing Support: Virtual educator workshops, one-on-one coaching calls, and visits to your classroom throughout the school year.
-
While the Modern Classrooms model can work for everyone, we offer grade- and subject-specific content for the Math Mentorship Program. Educators who participate will receive specific resources and support for Eureka Math² for grades 3-7.
-
Each lesson from the textbook comes with a suite of curriculum-aligned resources, slide decks to use and share with students, guided notes that can support student learning, checklists to keep students on task, video exemplars of educators teaching the lessons, and mastery checks to help educators better understand student learning.
-
All Math Mentorship Program participants are expected to use the resources provided and to participate in the training and ongoing support supports that are available. In addition, we ask participants to complete surveys to provide feedback on curricular materials and trainings.
-
Educators who fulfill all Math Mentorship Program requirements will receive a stipend of up to $1,200.
-
You’re eligible for this opportunity if you teach in Conway, use Eureka Math², and teach grades 3-7.
“The feeling of community that the training fosters is fantastic. Sometimes, it is easy to feel alone with the struggles of a class, but meeting other teachers was refreshing. Modern Classrooms Math Mentorship Program transcends [individual] schools and regions.”
