Elementary Modern Classrooms Featured on Edutopia

When we launched the Modern Classrooms Project in 2018, we had no idea whether our approach would work in elementary classrooms.  After all, our founders developed it solely to meet our their own high-school students' needs.

We decided, however, that if elementary educators believed in the approach and wanted to work with us, we'd be glad to share what we knew in hopes that it would help younger students truly learn.

Fortunately, several educators in Bellwood-Antis School District, in Western Pennsylvania, were up for the challenge.  We began working with them in the fall of 2019, and watched with wonder as they made our model work for students from kindergarten on up.

Today, there elementary Modern Classrooms all across the world.  And those Bellwood-Antis teachers -- many of whom became Distinguished Educators and then paid Expert Mentors -- continue to lead the way, through articleswebinars, and now this video from Edutopia:

Edutopia is a worldwide leader in highlighting effective instructional practices, and we are both proud and grateful to be featured by their team.
